Anonymous Protest #45437299919273 - We Are Displeased.

A protest in French is a ''manifestation''
- perfect for our Manifesto purposes!
And simply... Luminous!

It was cute, at first,
say the first thousand times,
to see the use of Guy Fawkes masks all over the place,
giving a sense of cohesion and unity
to a righteous cause that was spreading
worldwide indeed.
Then we began to see the usage of other masks
to the same effect - and it passed,
we let if fly, hoping that it was but
a last minute contingency and that,
soon, everyone would return to the Fawkes look.
Remember the Fawkes Look?
Everybody Loves Guy...

Oops - wrong mask - wrong look!

Not this one either...

THIS... is it.

However, now, it is apparent that such is not the case after all.
Instead, we see some sort of amalgamation/abomination
evoking the silliest of horror films
as well as the dangers of radiation
all the while invoking the plights of those
who suffer the greatest from such contamination.
It is the Scream Look.
From an ill-fated (Thank God) film series...

They should have gone for this look instead -
same color patterns...
That is, quite simply put, in very poor taste.

And before anyone opposes this
with the simplest of retorts
along the lines of ''it's only a mask''
or ''the message is more important
than these superficial concerns'' -
we say... nay.
It is important to show consistency
in every facet, every detail
for that will determine
just how seriously we are taken afterwards.
That will determine the outcome of all of this.
That will determine, in effect, whether we change things,
accomplish anything at all
or whether they do not.

Bring back the Guy Fawkes mask, folks -
and stick to it.

See - it isn't so hard...

Ditch any references to lame-os
such as Scream, Halloween whatsnots
or, worse yet, Scary Movie -
and stick to the classy demeanor
and elegance of a true revolutionary.

And do not get discouraged whenever your efforts
are being reported incompetently -
such as the above example,
taken from a rag published north of the 39th parallel,
which is attributing the protests in Japan
to someone in Australia...
